A voice for those we serve.
The mission of the Mountain West Hope Center Community Advisory Council is to ensure that the individuals, families, and communities we serve — including those experiencing or who have experienced homelessness, housing instability, incarceration, or other life challenges — have a meaningful voice in shaping the programs, services, and direction of our ministry.
The Community Advisory Council serves as a bridge between the people we serve and the leadership of the Mountain West Hope Center. Council members will make recommendations to the Hope Center Board of Directors, inform policy decisions, and help guide the development and improvement of our services — ensuring that our work remains rooted in the real needs, lived experiences, and aspirations of those at the heart of our mission.
We believe that the people closest to the challenges we address are also closest to the solutions. Your voice matters, your story matters, and your perspective has the power to shape how we serve our community across DeKalb County and beyond.
If you are passionate about making a difference and want to help ensure that the Hope Center continues to grow in impact, relevance, and compassion, we invite you to join us.
